Privacy Policy
ShelfSnap is a tool for Whatnot resellers. We collect only what's necessary to make the app work. We do not sell your data — ever.
1. Who we are
ShelfSnap is operated by WinWin Network Corp. ("we," "us," or "our"), a company based in California. You can reach us at michelle@winx2.io.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: Your email address when you sign up or join our waitlist.
- Inventory data: Item titles, descriptions, prices, categories, photos, and other fields you enter into the app. This data is yours — we store it to power the app and do nothing else with it.
- Photos: Images you take or upload for your inventory items are stored in Supabase Storage and accessible only to you via authenticated requests.
- Usage data: Basic anonymized analytics (screen views, feature usage) to help us improve the product. No personal identifiers are attached.
- Device information: Device type and OS version, collected automatically for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve ShelfSnap
- Store and sync your inventory data across sessions
- Generate CSV exports with your photo URLs for Whatnot import
- Send you product updates and early access notifications (only if you opted in)
- Respond to support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
4. AI features
ShelfSnap Pro includes AI-powered listing copy generation. When you use this feature, the item title, category, condition, and description you've entered are sent to Anthropic's API to generate suggestions. This data is processed according to Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not store the AI-generated copy beyond your session unless you explicitly save it.
5. Photos and storage
Photos you upload are stored in Supabase Storage under your authenticated user account. Public URLs are generated for inclusion in Whatnot CSV exports — these URLs are accessible to anyone who has the URL (this is required for Whatnot's CSV import to fetch the images). Do not upload photos you do not want to be potentially accessible via direct URL.
You can delete your photos and all associated data at any time from within the app or by contacting us.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:
- Supabase — our database and storage provider. Their privacy policy.
- Anthropic — for AI copy features (Pro tier only). Their privacy policy.
- Apple — for App Store distribution and in-app purchase processing.
- Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect our rights.
7. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and inventory data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax purposes.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights including:
- Access to a copy of your data
- Correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability of your data in a machine-readable format
- Opt-out of marketing communications
To exercise any of these rights, email us at michelle@winx2.io. We will respond within 30 days.
9. California residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any future sale (which we do not do). To submit a request, contact michelle@winx2.io.
10. Children's privacy
ShelfSnap is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it immediately.
11. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), row-level security on our database, and authenticated storage access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, by email or in-app notification. Continued use of ShelfSnap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
